You can expect to see several different marine species including sea horses, sting rays, sponges, dolphins, star fish, and the elusive DORK FISH! Try scalloping, you will never forget the shallow clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
This is for everyone, all ages are welcome. All gear provided including scalloping license, mask, snorkel, fins and a collection bag. The oil spill has not effected us, so don't hesitate to scallop this season. Have fun.... And share the Salt Life!
Snorkeling for scallops in the Crystal River gulf waters is one of the locals favorite time of year and you can join in. Scalloping is an extremely rewarding and fun experience that is safe for your family and children in just three feet of water. The water is 80 degrees, very clear, relaxing and peaceful. After gathering your scallops, we will then show you how to clean and preserve your catch for an unforgettably fresh seafood dinner for you and your family to enjoy.
